Hello, my name is moca.
Continuing from the previous issue, here is an introduction to the Okayama trip.
Betty Smith.
This time, after moving on from Kibitsu Shrine and filling my stomach with a bowl of demi katsu-don, I went to Jeans Street, which I had longed to visit.
First, we went to the Jeans Museum.
Here, we could see the history of jeans, the workshop, and old sewing machines.
We also visited the workshop next door, where you can make your own original jeans,
We also visited the workshop next door where you can make your own jeans.
It seems that you can put your favorite tags and tacks on the jeans as you like.
There were already customers and they were creating as they pleased.
I learned about the history of denim in Okayama. Denim has been around in Japan for quite some time.
Inside, you can also see the actual jeans being made from the outside.
The cones in the parking lot were covered with a Betty Smith cover made of denim fabric.
I couldn’t help but snap a picture 📷 cute!
Get the pouch. 💞.
By the way, this Betty Smith product was not sold at Jeans Street, the next place we visited, so we went back here again and bought this pouch.
Betty Smith was also sold at a store in Kurashiki’s Bikan Historical Quarter, so you can buy it at either one. The overalls for the little boy were very cute.
Jeans Street
Next, we drove 10 minutes to Jeans Street.
A sign in the shape of a pair of jeans caught my attention. 👖
There seems to be quite a few jean stores.
Parking was on the street across from this sign.

There was an actual Jeans Street scene that I often see on the internet.
I wonder if this will be left hanging all the time? I wonder what they do on rainy days: 。。。。
Am I the only one who is curious about the weirdness? (LOL)
In the street, I saw a blue rumenade for sale and bought it.
Momotaro is also surprised at the price of this blue rumenade (660 yen) 💦.
It’s just regular rumenade inside.
I found the jeans store I was looking for.
It was interesting just to look at the store, which is a renovated old house.
Since I came all the way here, I bought one pair of jeans 👖.
And here’s an interesting thing↑
What a surprise, there was a vending machine for masks~~★★
Next, we will head to Washuzan🚗.
Mount Washu
A 15-minute drive from Jeans Street: we came to Washuzan.
This observatory is located right next to the Seto-ohashi Bridge, and free parking was available.
After parking the car and going up a few steps, we found a very beautiful view of the Seto Ohashi Bridge.
The view of the Seto-ohashi Bridge is right in front of you, and you can also see Shikoku in the distance.
From here, we will climb further.
